ABOUT ME

OLGA OPRIA

Photography has been with me all my life.

As a child, my father introduced me to the magic of photography — we developed film together in a small storage room. Later, he gave me my first camera. And with my first earnings, I bought my first professional one.

Since then, photography has become my way of seeing and feeling people.

For me, every session is a meeting. I don’t create something artificial — I reveal the best that is already there: authenticity, character, presence. It is important to me that a person remains themselves, yet sees themselves in a new light.

I am a certified psychologist and marketing specialist. In my work, I combine aesthetics, a deep understanding of human psychology, and clarity of purpose — why the image is created and what it is meant to express.

My authorial phototherapy project became the point that brought me back to photography after a long pause. Today, I work with depth, care, and intention.

I am Ukrainian. I currently live in Finland and travel with my projects around the world.

And I continue to do what I love — seeing the light in people.
